Agkistri island is a small paradise in the Saronic gulf, full of lush vegetation, with its pines "caressing" the clear blue waters. It is only 55 minutes away from the port of Piraeus and is accessible via ferry boat or flying dolphin. Agkistri has two natural harbors in which boats approach, the harbor of Scala and the harbor of Megalochori.

Agkistri is mentioned in ancient texts by Homer, Thoukididis and Diodoros by the name “Kekryfaleia” (beautifully embellished head), because of the impressive vegetation. The island is ideal for those who love hiking and cycling in the mountain or in the graphic settlements Metochi, Limenaria and Skliri.

When it comes to beaches, Agkistri has many with crystal clear blue waters, pebble and sand, in Scala and in Megalochori. The beaches that stand out are Aponisos, Dragonera, Mariza, Skliri and Chalikiada.
